I'm taking a friend's dad out from the lighthouse in a 13' Whaler and haven't ever fished there this time of year. No fishfinder or anything, so it's a lowtech trip. from the mid 80's? It is a regular shaft and electric start. My dad wants to replace this "well used" motor with a new one but the four strokes are so much heavier he isn't sure what would be OK. The boat is a 13' Boston Whaler. Any ideas? Also , who makes the best small 4 strokes?
