Kayak transport
Mornin' all,
I need to come up with a way to transport 3 kayaks on the roof of a 91 Camry or 02 Camry (we have one of each). The assortment of available racks, stacks, foot packs, and fit kits is a little overwhelming; or maybe I'm just too lazy to do the research :smt015. Appreciate all ...

oh yeah, about seagrasses in TX and La, as Chalk mentioned - too much turbidity these days. Historically they existed but now are pretty rare, especially turtle grass. The nurseries are the salt marshes.
Lower Tx coast has more grasses, it's further from the Miss. River and has generally a sandier ...

Just coming from the upper Tx coast, and having not yet fished in Fla, I can't offer much comparative analysis. But as to some of the theories advanced in this thread:

Thanks, friends
Chalk - we didn't "creek fish" in Tx, completely different bay structures there, but I'm reading the local reports, and specks and reds like deeper water in the winter no matter where you are... doggone it, Feb. 26th is the TH boat show, isn't it? I'll try to do both...

New tricks for an old Texan
Howdy - after many years fishing the bays and nearshore along the upper Texas coast, I now find myself in Tallahassee (but I think I want to live in Wakulla County, it's the salt water in my blood). As with my work, I'm finding that many things fishing-related are the same, but also much is ...
