Wanted: SOME PLACE TO LIVE!!

Any one know of anything around the Thomasville area or even South toward Monticello or Miccosukee. I am looking for a decent house and a few acres or no house and 10-20 acres.

Volguy
I will be fishing every week. Had a great day the other day by myself in the same are we found large reds last time. Trolling motors were fine but, the one of the 3 batteries was a dud and shorted the system. luckily I did not have to replace the banks. Let me know when you are coming back ...

Econ 4-14 fly fishing only

Got to the ramp late but, managed to slide out. Fished mostly East. Ran to a spot where we have been catching a few larger trout and caught 2 around 18 right off the bat. Then a ton of short fish. Decided to move in to the creeks and grass and fish for some reds. Hooked up 4 fish all over 20. It was ...

Fly fishing

I mostly fly fish on the flats. When I go I carry a 6 an 8 and 10. If the wind is down the 6wt is the most fun with the size of the fish around here. However 99% of the time its windy on the flats and I would recommend an 8 wt. The more you fly-fish the more you will get into it. Spend a little ...

Same kinda day as tin can

I launched around 8 at the fort. Ran west a good ways and fished a few spots here and there. Decided to try some oyster bars in deeper water and hooked up a couple of trout in the 22-25 inch range on live shrimp then nothing but sheeps head and most were small bait robbers. Headed back out to the ...

Keaton was good

Went to Keaton on Sun. instead of Econfina. The fishing was good. The water temp was a little bit better than St. Marks. I spoke to the game warden at the take out and he said that the water temp actually dropped from Saturday. He said there were huge schools of reds on the flats Saturday. We saw no ...
