Re: Broken Gamakatsu hook...

LOL, Made in Japan, assembled in Thailand? Just what assembly is required for a hook? On a similar note, I dumped a brand new pack of 1/4 oz jugheads into the tackle box and when I started using them, noticed there was almost no barb on them. :smt012 I guess quality is a thing of the past..... :smt0...

Re: Please Read And Help Out If You Can

While you are at it, ask him to have them abolish the IRS. That would probably be easier to get through!

I applaud your effort though.

That's what I was afraid of. Thanks, for the reply!
Last time I went out there, there were several boats anchored on top of the sunken ship locations. Gave up and went elsewhere. Not going to fight a crowd.

Re: Ecofina Report

Put in about 7:30 am on the low tide, managed to get out of the river with all the pieces of my boat connected. Water was flat as concrete so decided to pitch top water around the bars for reds. Managed one hook up and a few bites but nothing to show for it. Moved to the flats and the going was Tuff...

Darn, if they were 12 V I would take them. Doing a gate in the near future, but no AC there.

Re: Inshore/Offshore boat

Had Dubble Trubble since 2003, and have been in skinny water many times, and also out 20 miles many times.

She has hauled in her share of trout and grouper!

I think I paid 12,500 for her back then (very slightly used)

Actually, both. Started out a little east of the mouth, and the SE wind blew us all the way up to the mouth of the Aucilla.

Stayed in 6 to 8 ft of water.

Econfina 5/25

Cindy and I launched Dubble Trubble around 8 am. Went out to a favorite spot and started catching fish almost immediately. The wind was blowing good from the SE. A little choppy, but not to bad. We boated a couple of nice sized Rock bass and 1 keeper trout. Around lunchtime, we headed out to a spot ...

My late wife Barbara and I did it one full moon back in 2007. Did not get much fishing done! :smt007

We put in at Econfina around 2 am and left about daylight. It was a beautiful night....

Econfina 4-28

Cindy and I put in at 11:00 am and headed out for the day. Bite started right off under heavy clouds. Cindy drew first blood with a small 8 inch flounder. Then we started catching trout, loads of them! All 12-14 inches (good sign for later on :-D ). Also caught a mess of pinfish, seems one between e...

Re: St. George Island

Where is the cut at Dog Island? I have heard of the cut at St George. Is that between St George and Dog? I'm pretty sure thetr is no cut( for now) on dog island. They must be referring to east pass. I was there a couple of years back and the water was running across the island down on the west end ...
