Count me in. I do have a friend I work with, who would love to go. Post me your home phone in a PM and I'll call you tonight when I get home from work for all the details. Looking forward to it.

You know this could get interesting?? I remember when I had to wait to get into port to find a little recreation. Now I've got someone who can track them down, outflank them, covertly entise them, and take them prisoner. hahahah............

All we need now is a riffer to cut bait and make a beer run!!!

Seanile. Bad news. The fellow who wants to go with us is also a former Marine Sgt. Not to worry though, we both have enough sea duty under our belts to know it's not nice to mess with the captain of the boat.

We need no input from a "WING NUT".

I'm getting a little ansy here!! Not one, but two Marines??!! I'm beginning to get a little nervous......... I'm sure both of are a generation ahead of me, and very well seasoned with salt :o . Do you think a young wet behind the ears Captain like myself can actually take that kind of abuse?? :hammer:

A "Wing Nut" that's a good one~~ :D

Seanile the friend going with us is very salty. Myself, as I mentioned earlier, I spent three years on sea duty. Well, I stayed sea sick for three years. Want to know why Marines are so mean when they hit the beach? Most get sea sick, so when they get the chance to hit the beach, they would kill anybody who tried to push them off the beach, back to the boat they hate so bad.

I've never had the pleasure of getting sea sick. I'd be walking on the walls and tying myself to the boat. But not once have I gotten sea sick. Thank goodness, I'd hate to have to drive the boat and heave over the side at the same time.

hey dewyafish and CSMARINE. You guys are from the same town?? Do you know each other??

Also, guys, I think there's room for another soul onboard, just remember that you've got to be able to handle any abuse that comes your way.

CSMARINE, I noticed that....?? I really think we ought to have a serious kegger at the sand bar. Any flats boat can make it there. We'll crank up all the radio's set out a cash bar, throw the lounge chairs out at low tide, and watch the sun set!! Now, that sounds like fun!! Even old men like me can have fun..... Isn't that what it's all about??

No, Dewya and I have never met. We might have and don't know it. We fish the same holes in the Flint. If Dewya has ever been to the Peanut festival, he might have seen me marching in the parade in a Confederate Marine Corps Uniform. (hard to miss us) He lives right down the road from my families old homeplace. So I'm sure we've crossed paths before.
As for the music, I like Rap, or Hip Hop. :o Just kidding I really like music like the Marine Corps Hymm, any military marching music, or Dixie. 8) Just kidding again, never thought much about music when I'm out fishing, except the singing of my drag letting out.
Your idea about the keg party sounds like a typical Marine Corps amphibious landing to me, kill all the locals, drink their beer, and steal all their women.
