be sure and keep us posted on the sand bar and cash barrr
. sounds like fun with a bunch of oldies rock and roll on the radio.
probably would even trailer the boat up from keaton after scalloping for the day, sure the wifes friends would not mind the detour since i am taking them
how far is it from spring warrior over to the sand bar?? of course at low tide i am not sure i could get in and out of there.

whoooppsss!!!! page 4..... sorry guys... but this is as close to fishing as I can get right now. Which reminds me of the last time I went fishing.
My son (13) and I were out about 20 miles. We were trolling and really started getting hits. Within 30 minutes this area produced 3 grouper at 27" 28" and 29". Just when I was getting ready to nail that hole. The last fish came up from trolling. My son yelled "I own that fish" reached down to grab him, and the grouper started going ballistic!! Flopped up, hooked my son's middle finger, and kept flopping. Boy he was hurting. I had to jump down from the fly bridge, grab the grouper for all I had, and watch my son with tears running down his face. I had to rip the jaw to get the hook out. I cranked both 350's, and took everyting they had. They got us in safe and fast. We rushed to the medical center, and they had to cut the hook out. Thank god they were able to save the lure. His finger turned out alright too.
Well, I'm going back to that hole saturday. I have the lure we caught that fish on. It now bears the saying "From Ricky with Love".

It killed him.... But after operation "save the lure". He actually came out of it like a warrior. Proud of his ordeal and showing off his war wound to the crowd in the reception room. Couldn't wait to tell his friends and grandparents, and also called his older brother to let him know how tough he was. What a kid.......... now I can't get him back on the water.
Go figure??

I don't know where spring warrior is
. But, if you put in at St. Marks, you can make then sand bar in less than 15 minutes. Just make sure you have a depth sounder
and park it short of landing on the dirt in about 3-4 ft of water near the bird cage. You can't miss the boats. On a good day, there's usually a good 25-30 boats haning' out. I'll definately be putting out the word when I'm going to make a deal of it.
It'll be fun
