I've got an 88 45hp Merc that when we bought it, the guy said he had always done it. So, we still do it. Runs like a top. I guess it's one of those things that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Pennzoil fuel stabilizer @ Wal Mart, $1.96 a bottle, keeps your fuel fresh for 12 mo. Used it for 4 yrs. My motors crank every time. :thumbup:
