I had a pellican attack me in my boat at the Aucilla River one time. He paddled up to the side of my boat...I was fishing on the other side... had my back to him....reached over into my boat and bit me before I knew what was happening. :-D

sheephead on ct and a jig

flounder on a rattletrap

we did the anchor and tire thing last sat. in clearwater

my buddy hooked me

another hooked a guy in the side of his face

about twenty ten inch grouper in sjb last fall in 2' of water on spoons fishing for redfish.

a 2' spanish way up a creek fishing for reds never could get him turned around fought like a mad man he was hooked in the butt hole. that redefines foul hooked.
Yesterday it was taboo today it is normal what the heck will they be doing tomorrow?

Caught a pelican on a topwater plug out of St. Marks. Reeled him in, twisted his neck, breasted him out, and put him on ice. :-D

No, we did have to cut out a feather or two on the bottom side of his wing to get the plug out. :-? He flew off smiling! :D

Caught a nice 3lb pompano this spring on a gulp/ct up next to #98 just West of Carrabelle. Caught a big gull, the large grey ones, while trolling a spoon for spanish. Reeled him into the boat, kinda like flying a kite . Had to throw a towel over him, that was one mad gull, so I could get the hook out of it's lower beak. Flew off and probably gave up eating clark spoons :-D .

My own thumb! :smt013

A much more vivid memory than bonito on jig, sailcat on chug bug,
pelican on CT, sea turtle, gar wrapped around snout, puffer on
topwater, crab traps, etc.
It may be that my sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

I hooked a porpise last year on a pinfish. Fought it and even made eye contact with it when it jumped. It finally broke off the leader at the hook.

I don't remember who it was but I seem to recall someone posting 2 or 3 years ago about bringing up a fairly new rod and reel....

Queen B... here's the original thread Jan 06. The real story is several posts from the top :-D It wasn't a gulp, it was a curly tail.
