Congrats on the Cobia

I'm with you RC. TK, Chalk, others, what do you think is a good explanation? Is this freakish or not that uncommon to see cobia this early?Reel Cowboy wrote:I've read this report three times and still keep thinking, "Cobia in Feb!!!!"

Re: 2/24 Lanark
It's way early and I wouldn't imagine Cobia before late March, at least.Good Times wrote: Is this freakish or not that uncommon to see cobia this early?
Lanark does increase the odds but I don't have an answer. That's why I started the "observations" post in fishing.
It will be interesting to see what others have noticed.
Actually listening to what other people say is worth the effort.
Re: 2/24 Lanark
Global warming......maybe next snook will become regular summer catches here. Doesn't sound so bad now, does it?

As a science teacher (earth/space currently) the question is almost too much for me too avoid.Supa Fly wrote:Global warming......maybe next snook will become regular summer catches here. Doesn't sound so bad now, does it?
But this is the fish place and I will not tread.

Just laughing at this again and still trying to believe it happened, in February.
