Pond Fishin

Post by BayGator »

Can't fish anywhere else today so I hit my pond just to waste some time.

I didn't have any beetlespins left so I had to improvise with a 3" gulp tail on a 1/6oz. jig head.

If the pond gets any more water in it, these fish are going to start thinking about making an escape to the ICW. :-D

The concrete pier is completely submerged now

It was fun to waste a few minutes out there, but that wind is killing me!

Wadley, those are Red Belly Sun Fish. Better know as Bream (pronounced brim). It is a frshwater fish that is a blast to catch on a fly rod while floating down the river!
