I'm going trout fishing sunday at the lighthouse and was wondering when I should go. I was goin got go at daybreak but the tide will be outgoing and im used to snook who wont bite unless its incoming.. also my lil 17' fish n ski doesnt like the chop all to much. I went last monday and had a blast.. it was like glass out there in the morning what should i expect and when should I go?

The trout are biting a little better right now on a outgoing tide. Start in close and follow the tide out. Topwater early, as it warms up switch to soft jerk baits. Get a little deeper 6-8 feet and switch to straight grubs.
Good luck.
Good luck.

id be out at daybreak taking advantage of that high tide and fishing as shallow as u can. throwing topwater... maybe near or on the rock garden. creek mouths. follow the tide and the fish back out to deeper water. *shrug* if your boat can draft 2 ft. you can surely cast a topwater into a ft. or a ft. and a half. thats what i was going to do... but now i have a free fishing trip to lake seminole... so i wont be going.
