I always like to split them and fill with real garlic, a little salt and pepper. Wrap with bacon. Use a little hickory chips on the coals, just a little. simple and melts in ya mouth.

Just came in from checking mine on the grill and saw this post

I like to brown mine in a cast iron skillet that is NEVER washed, just wiped. I take them from the skillet to the grill, add seasoning, remove after 15 minutes and eat     :lick:

Got 12 minutes to go right now till tenderloin, sweet potatoes, homemade cornbread and sweet peas :lick:

Cut it into large cubes, marinate in your favorite stuff. Add a piece of pepper jack cheese, a jalapeno and wrap in bacon and pin with a toothpick. Cook on the grill until about medium.

Just watch your time and heat. It's easy to over cook it.

The wife don't want the cheese or jalapeno :smt012 so I'm soaking it in marinate right now and will salt and pepper, wrap in bacon and throw it on the grill in about 30 or so minutes  I sure would rather be fryin it :smt010 :smt004

I just had my son's 130 lb. doe processed and it cost $130 for 27 lbs. of sausage, 27 lbs. hamburger, whole backstraps/tenderloins (9 lbs.), and cleaning fee (I was too lazy  )..oh yea and $6 for the freezer boxes (included in the above price). Not to bad for 60 lbs. of meat in my opinion.
