First stop produced some rat reds and a few slot trout....second spot nothing, third nothing, fourth nothing...think I fished a slack tide most of the morning
Finally found a few fish once the tide and wind started kicking...We ended up with about 6 reds and six trout. Rain clouds to the north kept us cool most of the day...biting flies and bumble bees were buzzing and biting good...Lil Chalk was a fishing machine all day...reeling in all of the fish with exception to the big one...we had to tag team it. Got on a school of upper slot reds that was there then gone in a matter of seconds...ended the day.
Boat ran great...she is a skinny running girl and pretty quiet as well....still not sure if I will keep her....but she was fun to drive and fish out of today.
Can wait til next time.
