Hey, Chalk-- it's looking good. I'm hoping to sail Slider over to Cedar Key for the small boat meet in May. If you're done by then, zoom out and show me how to catch a few fish while I'm plodding past your neck of the woods.

Here's some bluefish we caught last fall:

Yeah, I know. But they really are good smoked.

Got a request for some updated pictures on JEM's forum - been doing a little work here and there....floor battens are in, main floor cut out and one layer of glass, finished and glassed the forward compartment, rounded over the rub rail....did some demolition today :o ...cut out the integrated rod holders. Idea was good on paper, but didn't pan out in reality. Plugging along...one day she will float or sink.

That thing looks good Chalk. What size kicker are you putting on her?
BTW, that's a nice aluminum trailer you got there!

The pink sailboat will be a while. I hope to order plywood this week. Did you use luan for the entire hull?

With great regret - this project has got to go...too many irons in the fire - going back to school, full time job and parent and all the other things that seem to take precedence.

Selling the boat as is, the platform it is sitting on (aluminum ladder), little over 1.5 gallons of epoxy, some fiberglass and fillers and all the scrap pieces of mahogany plywood that I have left.
Comes with a 25 hp Tohatsu - that was running three years ago

Really only need to finish installing the front middle and rear decks, paint the inside...add a layer of glass on the outside and paint.

Boat is designed after a Gheenoe but has a sharp entry - designed to be a shallow water boat.

Price is $300 firm - the ladder, epoxy and fillers are worth that alone.

No takers and she may see a Viking funeral (that's what Barhopr suggested) :o
