DeanMac, no question about it... he is watching. New York Times article reported just this week that social sites are being monitored by the Obama administration more closely than ever in the past. Wonder why the same libs that were up in arms about the Patriot Act aren't screaming from the rooftops about big O watching us... things that make you go "hmmm...."
As for the .223 versus .243, absolutely right. Vast majority of the ARs are .223 but a few have been recently released in the .243 for folks intending to use them for hunting deer, since many states won't allow any rounds in the .22 range of rounds to be used. NOT saying that .22 calibers won't kill deer with a decent shot (FULLY appreciate they will), just that the .243 is much more usable (legally speaking) around the states for bigger game hunting.
Truly already have a decent rifle, just not in the AR family and being a gyrene who's been out a few years just miss my old M16A2...
