Gulf Oil Spill
Guys we had better fish it up the next few months because there may not be anything left!! It is so depressing to see that because for some of us that is our passion and I don't know what I would do if I lost those flats!! However it is out of our control. I pray the Lord will take care of this situation and His will be done! Please feel free to post comments and your own opinions on this subject. We can all talk about it, share news, updates, and debates.

I know we all like to fish but we need to be praying for the folks that make a living fishing, selling fish, etc.

Re: The BP oil rig
Good Evening Gents: Look for resources to start moving further eastward tomorrow. The response teams, etc will start setting up a command structure down in the St. Pete area to address the potential impact along the western border of Florida. I wish I had some really good news to share, but I don't. However, booming ops were going very well today, mother nature gave us a break and more area was covered. The protection mission is still full speed ahead, but the oil is still flowing. Just my two cents (this is not anything observed or overheard, etc. from the operations I am in), when/if the oil gets over into the shipping lanes that serve the Port of Tampa (or even threaten the shipping lanes), look for a spike in fuel prices, etc. Good night and don't forget to pray.

Thanks, not to get off topic to much. But I took that with my Blackberry down at our camp on the Ochlockonee River and my wifes uncle decided to paint it. SO we have this hanging in the living room....RHTFISH wrote:Thanks for sharing!RiverRunner wrote:A good article of what happened....
