What sort of crowd was there?
"Good Judgement" comes from experience, ... and a lot of that..... results from "Bad Judgement".

I'm headed out there tomorrow with a buddy... Thanks for the pinfish tip b/c we were figuring the gulp would work fine. Were you fishing by the mouth of the ecofina or further out? Thanks in advance for any other tips!

My buddy's sister married a guy from Eastern Europe (can't think of the country to save my life right now). He went fishing with them a while back and caught a bunch of pinfish. He wouldn't let them throw them back, and when they got back to the hill he just cleaned them and fried them whole like a bream. They said he really seemed to enjoy it, but none of them would try it. I guess any fish is edible as long as it's not toxic. Heck, some people love the taste of mackerel.Hit-n-Miss wrote:(can you eat those? just wondering)

Thank you... I'm obviously new to the site, and relatively new to fishing, but I'll be sure to post a report on how our Econfina trip goes!

We eat them everytime we catch them the size of a large bream. Taste fine. Few more bones than a bream but still o:k.
