Pre-fishing For RedTrout Shootout on 10/03/10
Well, me and my buds are gonna try out the RedTrout Shootout on October 23, 2010. So we thought we better practice a little. As usual, the redfish were plentiful, and so were the trout (just not big ones ). Top-water was good all day, beating out soft plastics about 2 to 1. Here are some pics . . .
Maybe one of these coulda been a contender! I wish this 31-incher (to the fork) woulda-coulda been a trout!

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Hey Will, where is Bret? Maybe if he was fishing with you, that cobia would have been a keeper! Good luck in the tourney!

Ben, yeah I picked up the Stella at the last RedTrout Banquet auction. Never could afford it otherwise. Hey, you should think about comming to the RedTrout Banquet at Cross Creek (near the office) next Thursday 10/14/2010. I know there will be a couple of custom inshore rods up for auction, and a lot of other fishing and hunting stuff, some of it to be raffled. Just $15 for good meal, good company, and good deals. www.redtroutshootout.com or contact Brian Hurley at (850) 528-0553.skitterwalk wrote:is that a stella in your mouth!!?? thats a hell of a reel!
