All I can tell ya fer sure is that I caught a 25 inch Red in front of the Ocholocknee state park last Sunday and that's about 5 miles up river from the mouth of the bay but the water should be little warmer in the St Marks

Wevans is a wise man, start at the confluence of the rivers and work your way down. Port Leon creek and the pilings just to the south may be a good bet. I fished from the fort to the power lines last week and caught nothing but small sheepshead.
ok , im going to try that . Start at the fort and work my way down and out the river, How long is too long to sit in one spot going down the river like that? thanks for all the info !!!
