Advice On Equiptment Please.
I recently purchased a flats boat, and am tring to outfit it with a GPS and a good Bottom Machine. I just recently got back into Flats fishing, after spending the past 16 years focusing more of my efforts offshore (Tired of the long runs to deep water). Therefore I would like some advice on reasonably priced electronics for flats fishing?
Thanks A Million.

Equiptment
Sorry to keep asking questions but, I am also an avid hunter therefore I am thinking I would like to have a GPS for this activity also. Therefore is there a handheld unit that is good for both purposes?
Thanks Guys

Garmin GPSMap 76 or 76S would work fine. I have the 76S and it is a little more money but it has an electronic compass and altimeter as well as having 24 Mb of memory which is important if you want to use multiple maps like the TOPO Maps (for hunting) and the Bluecharts(for fishing) or Streets (for driving). If you get a handheld, make sure you get a 12v power cord and mount for the boat.
