Mary Mac's is the bomb!

As good as it gets! I've been eating there since the mid 60s and still love it! Country fried steak is the best I've ever had. I worked downtown many nights while at Emory and would head out Ponce and stop at the new KKreme for a midnight snack or at Krystal for some chili if I was going to stay up and study. On the weekend I'd stop in at Manuel's Tavern for a dark cold Andeker. If Manuel was around I'd get a free beer when I reminded him I worked for his brother Gene in the family liquor business. Ponce was a happening place in those days!
