I borrow my parents' mower. They got a Bad Boy a few years ago. It mows 5 acres of blueberries,a couple of acres around the chicken farm, about 5 acres of yard, plus my 2 acre yard and my brother's 2 acre yard every 1 - 1.5 weeks. It is much heavier duty than your average zero turn mower, and they have only had one minor repair needed. They sell em at Tractor Supply.

I've tried that as well. Just wait until the pink eye gets into the herd and you will hunting a lawn mower! My JD was less than $3K, it don't scratch my back or wash my butt, but then I'd rather spend my money on things other than lawn mowers. :smt005

I solved the mower selection problems with my current house after giving up a golf course size yard. The grass I had to plant can be cut with a push mower in 15 minutes! My fishing time has increased significantly!
