Water temp?
In spring and summer, 1 degree will make a difference. But, water temperature is only one element of the equation. There must be desirable structureor cover, food, and enough water. If the water warms up on a sunny afternoon, close to shore, but it's a minus low tide, they probably won't be in 8" of water. Find the warmest water you can, in the early spring, with the right bottom, and a food source, and you'll find fish.
