Put in at 0900...Southeast wind blowing straight up the bayou....Which was perfect for a 1.3 mph drift across a flat I wanted to fish....Alot wind, 20 trout to 16" (3 keepers), one 17" red with 6 spots on a jig of course , one lizardfish....Straight jigs, jerk baits and topwater...Left them biting at 1200....
Okay, I got my dig in ....Red was caught on a skitterwalk.....Drifted in real close and said to myself, "Self, if I was a redfish, I would hit a topwater plug off this point, if I was a redfish."....One long toss, three twitches and fish on...I like it when I can call the shots
Actually bought a dang ol' no fish catching spoon today, couldn't make myself use it though...
