First sight of the sun….

Tried first spot. No bites nibbles or takers. Wearing jackets, gloves and full face stocking caps we looked like a pair of sea bandits, but the extra layers kept us warm. What happened to that nice warm transition into winter?
Ben- silhouette of a fishing bandit….

Started getting the feeling there were no fish even though I could see them on the finder, they had lock jaw, even to a live shrimp. Moved south out off the western shoals and got a few nibbles. Tide was still so low that most of the high spots on the shoals were exposed. Where we were fishing, the water visibility was 4’. Gave up and ran around to the eastern shoals toward St Teresa beach area and hit some spots I had marked two weeks ago, ( http://www.bigbendfishing.net/phpbb/vie ... php?t=8153 ). Water temp 64.5 and was rising as the sun was rising 10:am. Started getting hits on electric chicken jig tipped with shrimp. WHAM keeper bluefish. AS I was bringing him to the boat he had two other buddies trying to steal the jig from his mouth. I thought I was going to get a cut-off right before my eyes. It was fascinating to watch. 22â€
