Yak,
Sounds good! will be looking forward to meeting everyone on 2 March. Glad you got a chance to go by the Wilderness Way--great shop and great people there. I do a lot of business with them, and they haven't steered me wrong yet.

Hey there, we haven't done a dues thing so far because we haven't come up with anything we needed to pay for yet -and my hope is we don't.
That said, I'd be happy to be convinced for some good reason otherwise.
The consensus seems to be that what we want to do is fish. Given that, what we've done so far is use this site to organize our trips. So far, I think, it's worked. I'm not sure what the next effort will or should be but if we follow the pattern we've done so far then we're just waiting for somebody to initate Kayak Trip #3 and then just see who can make it.
I sure will if I can. After all, it's about all I really want to do every freaking day.

Sounds like a real "loose knit" group. Those generally work the best . Too much organization generally confuses me anyway.

So I'll just keep an eye out on this forum.
