You can fish from the Lighthouse to Rock Island in 3 feet or less. I do not know about other areas. Haven't tried em yet.

3 years ago to the day. I wonder if they're back today. I think I'll check the shallow flats east of the LH. Maybe the trout have looked at their calendar.

I noticed a decline in the groups of fish in the st. Marks River.... I expect them to be back out there after the last serious cold front.

JT I didn't see any pictures. I would like to see what a trout looks like after spending time in deeper water. Was there any food in their bellies? WEre the majority of the trout legal, or were they shorts?

Thanks JT-

MJ

See ya'll on the flats

Post by KingEider »

I broke down and paid for a top spot. It has a bunch of numbers on it. I don't know if I have mentioned before but, this site is excellent. I am getting one of the skeg guards installed on my boat from the marine shop in Tally Monday morning. They are going to make it and put install while I wait. You can not beat that kind of service with a 20 ft stick. Especially if the trout are on the flats.

I look foword to meeting and seeing some of you guys on the flats. See ya'll this weekend
