Costa Del Mar Prescriptions

Post by Chalk »

Anyone bought single prescription Costa Del Mars? I have the frames, thinking of buying prescription lens vice wearing contacts. The high priced optician wanted $160 for his lens (plastic) and $280 :o for Costa Del Mar glass lens to match the ones I have now....

If you have some is the price inline? Would like to buy locally, I did find some in Ft Lauderdale for $225 (frames and all).

Thanks,

Chalk

of years ago. They are proud of their stuff, but it is hard to beat. A set of Oakleys I have doesn't compare. When I looked thru these I had to have a set. :x

The only way to go at this price is getting the lense done by Costa Del Mar. I priced them through hourglass, 2 options plastic or glass, the glass lense has a double layer of polarization. Frame and glass lense was $405 not sure about plastic but a little cheaper. I am saving my money now, if I have to wear glasses why not wear quality. site for a little more info on options http://www.costadelmar.com/Technology/technology.html
hour glass had some good literature. Need to look into the new glass lense they have called lightwave
