Anyone bought single prescription Costa Del Mars? I have the frames, thinking of buying prescription lens vice wearing contacts. The high priced optician wanted $160 for his lens (plastic) and $280 for Costa Del Mar glass lens to match the ones I have now....
If you have some is the price inline? Would like to buy locally, I did find some in Ft Lauderdale for $225 (frames and all).
of years ago. They are proud of their stuff, but it is hard to beat. A set of Oakleys I have doesn't compare. When I looked thru these I had to have a set.
The only way to go at this price is getting the lense done by Costa Del Mar. I priced them through hourglass, 2 options plastic or glass, the glass lense has a double layer of polarization. Frame and glass lense was $405 not sure about plastic but a little cheaper. I am saving my money now, if I have to wear glasses why not wear quality. site for a little more info on options http://www.costadelmar.com/Technology/technology.html
hour glass had some good literature. Need to look into the new glass lense they have called lightwave
THOSE PRICES SEEM MIGHTY HIGH TO ME. MY DAUGHTER, MARY, OWNS THE BAKER EYE CARE CENTER OVER IN MACCLENNY , FLA. JUST WEST OF JACKSONVILLE, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT SHE CHARGES FOR THE PRESCRIPTION CDM GLASSES, SHE GIVES ME MINE. IF YOU WOULD LIKE I COULD E-MAIL HER AND FIND OUT .
