What was I supposed to do today?
Nope, they were definitely yours, we had a brief clash with Gordon last week, he was a bit of a softy, but this one was Helene and she was not acting like a lady. 
They lose some wind strength crossing the Atlantic, but pick up a lot of water and dump it all over us.
As our houses are made of bricks, there is rarely structural damage, apart from a few loose slates, but it makes travelling difficult and causes general disruption.
wevans, trust me, its nothing like being there, today we will struggle up to about 60 F and tomorrow is forecast to be colder.
Autumn is here and Winter will be close behind.
