We always made it a rule of thumb to never go in or out if the tide was below 0.4+. We really like it above that if there is a north wind. We used a 19 ft fiberglass bass/walleye boat. We just got a 22 ft Cape Horn Bay and will probably stop going in and out of Econfina.
