Got to get it to the boat doctor and get the yammy fixed! Chomping at the bitts rite now :smt004
Wiil report on the maiden voyage and put up more pics, as I am learning to use my new dig cam and how to post pics! :D

it sat up for almost 2 yrs. We cranked her and BACKFIRE! Still it cranked and ran fine, smooth.
Reminds me of a go-devil sounding engine.
We blew a carb gasket, and gas was pouring out. This motor has 3 carbs.

Gonna get the water pump new, change foot oil, and generally have him give it a physical.

Then we're OFF!! :-D

Was it previously set up with a jet foot, or is that the light on the pic making the colors different? I would be interested in hearing about how it performs. Speed/ride, etc.

I too would recommend Porter Marine for service. Congrats on the rig :thumbup:

In the 4th picture, what is that near the bottom of the port sponson? Looks like a fixed trim tab.

WF4F the flash went off on that picture.

Barhopr I think that is a fixed step. I will ask about that.

I noticed the poling platform seems a little higher than most others.
