Went to Aucilla yesterday...3 boats of us. Water temp on the flats was 56.4 degrees where we went. Between the 6 fishermen....one flounder was all we caught. Five guys struck out. Water is still too cold. Will wait till it gets up in the low 60's to go again. Wind blowed too hard too...right out of the North...at least 15 mph..maybe more.
I wuz there. We caught some good-look'in 2'' pinfish and put 'em under corks, but no takers. A lot of bait there, so maybe trout will follow them out soon.

You can almost always catch flounder there. You just have to put a shrimp on the bottom, and fight off pin fish all day. I dont have the patience for it, but my Father in law catches at least one almost everytime I take him.
