We’re staying at a house on Spring Creek, so any advice there would be great, but I’m open to exploring other areas as well. I’ve tried finding a map of the lake here locally, but have not had any luck. So, if anyone with some local knowledge of the Spring Creek area would chime in, I would appreciate it! 
that place is JUMPIN on the weekends 
I very seldom go more than a mile or two from the resort to do my main catchin 
where Grasscarp said is a goodun and all the area between there and Wingates cutoff also I've had the best luck with a Rattlin Rogue "of course" and a pumpkin seed/chartues tail worm but also have caught fish on a Top Dog, 5" Chug Bug and a Dyin Flutter I would imagin that a Devil Horse would work good also "I just aint took the time ta tie one on" We fish in April, so the water temp is usually a little warmer by then
