We ended up with around 50 shorts and 2 keepers fishing Friday afternoon in 4-5 foot south of the river. Regardless of the rain we had fun and had a good meal at Fiddlers to finish the night. After talking amongst ourselves we decided to play it by ear for Saturday and see what the morning brought us.
Saturday morning we decided the Lord had blessed us with an opportunity to fish and we couldn't pass it up.

Even though Kyle Skipper rode by us at the ramp starring at us like we were crazy and the news van slowed down to see a bunch of Georgia boys going fishing, we went out anyway. The river was a bit rough in the mouth, but not bad once we were shallow. Turns out the fishing was better during the storm, who knew?

While the day was rainy and windy, it was still very much an enjoyable trip and we ended up with 6 more keepers and a good bit of shorts, the keepers were all from 3ft, any deeper and we picked up shorts instead.

One good thing about fishing during a storm, theres no one doing stupid stuff to hold up the line at the ramp.

Of course, we ended the day with a good meal at whodat and helped a guide get the starter back on his truck, he told us we were hardcore, I think he was right. But it was quite the adventure.
