we knew it would be a little rough in the afternoon.
Booked it many months ago. Had plans to go to the Gulfstream.
The five of us,wife, sister, brother in law, dad and my self left
the inlet at 6am on a 49 foot sportfisherman.
Things seemed to be choppy but doable 3=5 foot seas., about an hour out conditions worsened and we decide to stay closer in to work some artificial and natural bottoms. With the wind and waves it was very hard for the capt to hook
up on the spot, hoped to get a few grouper and snappers, but all we
left with was bait. Moved to another spot several miles a way 5 to 7foot seas made it a long trip. When we got there thing started to look up

Pulled in this nice snapper with much effort, Let me tell you it's alot different pulling in a 20+ snapper from 100 feet with line stretch, than a 40lb grouper in 40 foot. My poor sister, never been sea-sick before, was having a hard time, you
know charters, keep going. Finished the day with many red snapper, a few lanes
be liners and a grouper. had fun with the Bonita (good chum u know)
Well even though the conditions were very tough, the capt put us on some good
fish, but because of break off and cudas, we didn't come back with what we hoped.

Still a day with lots of memories and great stories.
