Re: 12 SEC games and only one loss
Mark Richt is a nice guy, who will win 8-10 games a year consistently, but he's not a championship coach. However, we all still appreciate his coordinated team wide celebration in the endzone two seasons back in Jacksonville. Boy, did he ever pick the wrong moment to turn classless. That's motivatio...

Oregon Duck represents the Big Bend!!
If you have been anywhere near sports news this morning, you have seen highlights of LeGarrette Blount, the University of Oregon running back decking a Boise State player with a right hand after the game. After landing the haymaker, and back pedaling cowardly (helmet on the whole time), he doesn't s...

Re: I read this and said "WTF!!!"
I don't see the incentive to settle in this case. I'd take my chances with a jury... even a crazy yankee jury on Staten Island. The somber lesson here is.. be VERY careful where and how you volunteer your time, especially with kids. Once an accusation flies, or a kid gets hurt, it's dayum near impos...

Imagine being stuck in traffic at a raised draw bridge and seeing a rig like that come through the other side!

Re: Wake Up America!!!
GatorBaiter, I apologized for shooting off, but apparently that wasn't good enough for you. You decided to run down me and my home town. Just so you know, a population of 4200 people doesn't constitute urban sprawl, even in Antartica. Next, unless you are 70 something and/or went to UF in 1950 somet...

Re: Wake Up America!!!
I honestly apologize for taking a shot a farming. That was from left field and uncalled for. I'm from rural north florida (High Springs), and I'm fiercely proud of my occupation, too. However, I hate it when I drive home through Mayo and it looks like little Tijuana. That's where the apologies stop....

Re: Wake Up America!!!
Man, the prez has the fear mongers out in full force!! Since conservative america has no answer to our social issues, their only platform is referring to proactive citizens as facists. How sad!! ....the same fear mongers got us into a war in Iraq that was justified as a search for something that did...

Re: Camper Full of Pepper Spray
Gotta figure out if they used CS gas or pepper spray. You can wash walls and mop floors with mild salt water. Any furniture probably got saturated and might need to be professionally cleaned. Hopefully if you have A/C in there, it wasn't running. You can prolly help alot by opening doors and windows...

Lake Hall 8-10
Sometimes quantity is more important than quality. Fishing with my daughter today at Lake Hall when it's 90+ degrees outside is a prime example of that. She landed probably 20 little bream in 30 minutes including two nice golden shiners before she decided it was time to go swim. I'd like to go back ...

crab trap floats
Anyone know where I can find a crap trap float in Tally (or reasonably close to town)? I'd like to mark some stuff in the water and could use the help.

Re: The Ulitmate Boating Predicament
Alright, I've gotten just tons of fine advice from you all! I wanted to let you know that I'm not going to follow any of it. Just kidding! Actually, I'm going to work directly with little brother, just me and him. If I can get through to him on how bad it would be to leave it unattended in the lake,...
