Re: Econfina 5-25
We were down there on Monday and limited out on trout and one flounder. Had a big red break me off on a mirror lure. I heard several people on the radio saying the bite was slow. We were down there from 10:30 -5:00 and had to work hard for the fish we caught. Most were around 16-18 with one about 22 ...

Monday went out on low tide and bumped a rock near the mouth. Fishing was good again, not as many but good ones. Limited out ...

Re: Where to put in at Alligator Point?
Good luck. I fished there several days this summer and did not have much luck. Ended up running to oyster bay - shell point and fished that area with better results. Never tried to the west around Lanark Village but I hear that is really good place.

I know these boys. They have some good food and great oysters. I hate to see them in trouble but if they knowingly did wrong then time to pay up. They supply seafood to most of southwest Ga.

That was me and my father at the Econfina. We did alright caught fish both days. This trip was about more than catching fish. Almost lost my father last year and we enjoyed just being together.

Re: water hazards around Alligator Point
Thanks for the info. My ride is a 16 center console, fish and ski barge ( tarpon 16). It runs in some skinny water but want to keep all my parts and not leave anything on the rocks or bars.
Thanks for the fishing info. I need to get me a map of the water in that area.
