Thanks, I went out this morning and fished around the number one marker saw one shark jump into the air and spin. Saw one more close to the beach made a cast to him and he spooked. I'll try again in the morning. Lots of bait around but nothing feeding. I was the only boat out there this morning bad ...

Shellpoint fishing
I have been fishing at shellpoint the last two days and have not caught a redfish or trout yet. Thinking about pulling the boat out and going to St. Marks lighthouse. Do you think the fishing is better there?

Re: One Inshore Bait ?
I like to pitch docks. Fished down at clearwater and did well two years ago. It was at Christmas and the guy at the bait shop told me to throw a gold spoon on the flats. Fished for two days just about wore the finish off of it no fish. Was ready to give up and go to a fresh water lake. Every day on ...

Re: Good fishing North of Shellpoint
If I brought some down it would ruin you. Going to the bait store spending 20-30 dollars on one bait, taking a hand full of advil to keep down the pain in your hands from casting and retreving monster baits all day. But if you knew they were there you no doubt would go after them to. I have one ...

Re: Good fishing North of Shellpoint
I have never ate one. I've been told they are good. There are so few here most of us that fish for them with a passion release the beast to fight again another day. We fished Red River yesterday in a two man boat and it rained on us all morning. About 12 it cleared and we caught three small ones and ...

Good fishing North of Shellpoint
Really about 670 miles north of Shellpoint. I'll be down to Shellpoint the middle of July but wanted to share a few pictures of some of the fish we have caught the last two days here. The big one is a 49 inch muskie caught in the Kentucky river by my freind Dwayne tuesday. The other one is a 40 ...
