There was still pods of bait in 24-30', earlier in the am we found hungry grouper, on the outgoing tide, but on the incoming tide the bait was back and the bite died. Lizard fish were more aggressive that SEIU members beating up on old people at a tea party :lol:

Still too much bait around, i marked some small wads of them near some numbers, and saw jacks chasing them to the surface. I'm hearing a few folks catching some, hit and miss.

Pretty much same results as previous trips, but one keeper right at 22". Fished from 35-65', spent a few hrs dragging stretches, not a sniff. Hit a lot of areas, i'm not talking small holes, more like large areas of hard "swiss cheese" bottom that have always held good numbers of grou...

I've given up grouper fishing and taken up shuffle board, those old bastids better watch out, i've been lifting weights and that 87 year old bully doesn't scare me anymore.

Oh i understand that, hehe, but the past 3 falls i've done respectable, my question was really do they really migrate, and is it still to early, water temps about 75 now...
