Spanish already? Wow! Sounds good! We used to fish toward rock island years ago, last couple years always fished left of the mouth... But I guess 4-5 ft on a grass line will do the trick! Pearl white shrimp or jerk shad?

Re: ISO: Econfina Report
So now $2 in addition to $5 launch fee?
No, just 2 bux. We gave them 5 today, because we did not see the sign before the box. Heck, we could not find the box for a few minutes, then saw it way back up at end of pavement. Don't mind though.

Re: ISO: Econfina Report
Thanks a lot guys! Like I said, planning on heading down not this weekend but next. Hopefully weather will permit.
I will assume that with all of the rain lately and dark water conditions Pearl White Gulp (shad or shrimp) will prob be the ticket...
If someone goes this week or this weekend, drop ...

Re: Will rainwater mess up fishing?
aglass,
I would definitely try the mouth of the creeks and rivers. I would even venture into the creeks just a little ways. If you still have no luck, and the water out on the flats is a coffee color, then you need to find at least 4' of water. However if you are fishing econfina, after i tried ...

Re: Will rainwater mess up fishing?
I have been fishing the Big Bend area for around 15 years, and something that I have noticed every time this kind of rain moves in it always effects the fishing however the bite doesn't completely stop and in some cases gets better, you just have to know where to look. If it were to rain just over ...

Hey Brother,
Havent been down yet this year but this time of the year the water temp is gonna be between 58 and maybe luck to see as high as 63 but not likely! the reds are gonna be shallow more than likely with the trout, and they are gonna be after baitfish primarily but you can catch both on ...
