Hope everyone had a Happy Turkey/Fish Day!! I just wanted to pop in and say that we have added yet another Fishbites flavor/scent to the list... SQUID! The baits getting the Squid treatment are:

Fish'n Chunks , Offshore Fishbites Pro - cut it yourself sheets... and for the NE and Pacific Coast ...

It was bound to happen sooner or later, but we accidentally added green/chartruese to a batch of our coldwater crab flavor/scent - it's normally flesh/white. We thought about tossing it, but there's really nothing wrong with the baits other than being...well...green.

So for those of you who may be ...

Our plan is to release 2 or 3 Catfish baits... the actual release date keeps getting moved because we want to concentrate our efforts on creating a FULL line of saltwater baits first. The next saltwater flavor/scent - Squid - will be released later in November. Add Squid to the Shrimp, Clam ...

I thought this might interest you guys... I'm not certain of the exact release date yet although it will definitely be in July. This is a new lure from Captain Mike Hakala and it's the very first Fishbites infused tube lure to hit the market.
When released you'll most likely find it where ever ...

I realize this post comes on the heels of some questions about the durability of our colored baits and believe me we're looking into that.
With that said, one thing is for certain, a piece of FB of any color will still far out-last a piece of shrimp. Another way to get more mileage out of Fishbites ...

We do indeed make a Coldwater formula that does dissolve faster but it only comes in white which puts the kybosh on the color theory...

As for the observation that the colors dissolve faster, we're going to look into it just to make certain that it's not a case of one or two slightly ...

I am in no way doubting your observation, it is however, the first time anyone has made mention of it. The surprising factor here is that the color pigments are such a small percentage of the mix that it makes no sense that they would cause the baits to dissolve quicker.

Well this is a new one on me... I guess my questions are these... do the colored baits literally dissolve faster than the white baits... or do the colored baits not hold up to as many attacks as the white baits?

Another thing to consider is... were the white baits fished at a different time and ...

You don't need to buy the Fish'n Chunks for pinfish, you can really use any Fishbites bait for pinfish... You should also consider cutting each piece into half or thirds... this will stretch your $$ out much better. Use sharp scissors to cut them.
