Thanks!

St George island vs Cape Sand blas
Planning a trip this weekend to do a little kayak fishing. Looking for a place to throw up a tent and make a weekend out of it. Was thinking about St George Island or Cape San Blas (state park campgrounds). Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on which area could/would typically produce the best ...

Re: GPS issues
I compared to some of the public numbers found on this site. I will have to check the Datum settings. Is there a way to calibrate a GPS? I haven't tried to clear my track history. Ill try that also. Thanks

GPS issues
Hey All,
I have a humminbird 587ci all in one unit that the gps seems to be way off. I kept noticing that when I went to some of my numbers the structure wasn't there. Rode around and could never find it. I checked against the O tower Sunday, and it was a 1/4 mile off! Has any one seen this and ...

St Marks Info
Look at going to St Marks Sunday to do a little trolling for grouper. Never been there. Looking for information on the best place to put in at. And are there any rocks or anything to look out for on the way out?
Thanks

pinfish dog island?
I am looking for a good spot for catching pinfish around dog island. I've tried using sabiki rigs and the catching is just slow. I seem to be a little impatient when comes to this, always eager to get on out there. Heard about people having success at dog island reef, (never fished it) but wondering ...

Re: Carrabelle June 10/11/12
Great report! We too went to Carrabelle this weekend and fished the same spots with about the same results. Ran out of pinfish sunday and were cating AJ's @ K tower off vertical jigs. Would not bite cut bait at all. I was amazed at how well the jigs worked.

Lanark / Carabelle Advise
I'm going to give Lanark or either Carabelle a try on Saturday. I have never fished there before, but going to give some of the public numbers a try. Kinda new to offshore fishing so Im not sure which numbers are typically the best. I don't have a really large boat, so I'm not sure how far I'm going ...
kings
Who can give me some good information about trolling for kings. When they typically start running, rigs, bait, cigar minnows with skirts? Where the best place to launch is and about how far offshore would I expect to find any.
