Is the power cord the same for Garmin 172c and 498 gps. I have one installed on my boat now and did not want to change out power cords if possible. I plugged one cord into the 172c and 498 and both worked. Will it do any damage or will the cord be ok for both.

Wired all lights yesterday with 18 gauge wire, because that looked like that was on the original wiring. All wires are 18 gauge, including main positive and ground to battery. Wired direct to battery with inline fuse. Turned on lights, and not very bright, should I have used maybe 14 or 16 gauge ...

I moved my nav lights, red and green to my newly added console and added white/anchor light to motor cowling. Need to hook up new switch and runs all wires. Anybody have a simple diagram showing where all the wire go? thanx.
