you can try WD 40 to break it lose......but the way it sounds need to take the streering tube apart and clean it out...... the best way I have found to do this is with a air hammer and a peace of round stock that will fit the steering tube thus pushing out the streeing cable tube...if you can find a ...

just replace the flasher with a heavy duty one

all you really have to do is pull the backing plate off everything will come it it....you will have to break the break line lose in the back of the plate other than that all comes off together.......

thats not good......

I mainly fish the big bend areas and the water has really never cleared up so far this year.......we have caught a lot of trout and reds but still not the way it should be with clean water.....

don't like raw fish eather........

got a friend that runs the garman 180 little hard to see in the sun light other than that works great.........

I don't know about grouper but I bass love them red fish.....

best way is to replace the cables one day you will break the helm and then you got big trouble if out fishing or just boating.......its not that hard to do it yourself I have done many of them......... and the worst is when you have to pull the motor to get the cable out of the tube...........
