Fished the aucilla and some nearby creeks this afternoon, got there shortly before high tide and fished about 2 or 3 hrs with artificials: gold spoon, mirror lures and jigs. There might be some fishermen who can catch them year around but I usually only get them in the fall when he water is starting to cool off - late October or November.

I've been fishing for almost 50 years and I can't tell the difference between an expensive rod or a cheap rod, except when I go to the register.
