Boat repairs & paint!
Well, I'm still jumping up and down to build my own boat, but I figured I'd fix what I have first.
A couple of weeks ago I noticed a rotten spot coming through behind the bench on my boat. and realized the subfloor was saturated. Partially because the previous owner placed the drain plug too high ...

Homemade Boat Project
Alright! For a while now, I've been wanting to build a boat of my own, custom to my every need.
Still in the brain storming process.
I've already blueprinted and thought out a 16ft John boat, w/ 15hp with a big front deck
Got that set with all I wanted but now...now... I am considering a tunnel ...

Wakulla Beach Report
Got out this morning to test my new trolling motor on my canoe, rough start, but paid off in the end.
Got one of my favorite spots and caught bout 5-6 Slot Size Reds, and then it was dead. Tide was rising and rising hard! had trouble getting my 10 lb anchor to hold my canoe steady!
Move to spot ...

Re: Anyone been on the Ecofina for bass?
I put in at 98, and went down river maybe a mile, had to get out of the boat more than 10 times no climb logs, and rocks. There was no water movement. Never got deeper than 3 feet. Next time around, I'll definately be puttin in down river an goin up!

I stopped and took a look yesterday as well, but I was with a canoe and not willing to brave the wind.

Re: Introduction and report! (Several Pics)
Thanks, I call them my boats, but in all truthfullness. the Canoes/kayak and 13ft are mine. The 17 tracker is my dads and the sailfish is my girls fathers. the funny thing is the sailfish stays at my house and all boats get used more by me than the both of them combined. And I have access to them ...
