Re: 6/27/19 Snapper/Grouper

90 feet is about 45 miles out, 70 feet should be 30-35 miles depending on your heading.

6/27/19 Snapper/Grouper

Got out of the office yesterday and went out of Mashes sands boat ramp. Went out to 90FT and found some really nice snapper. Largest was initially a 20#er but the tax man took about half of him on the way up. Managed to pick through the snapper for a nice box of 25" plus fish. Went in a ...

Good trip

I noticed the offshore reports were slim on here so I figured I would post mine even through we didn't slay em this weekend.

Headed out early Saturday from Ochlocknee bay in search of grouper. Seas were a little rougher than expected but it ended up settling down and made for a pretty nice day ...

Re: turkey point 4/25

It was quite a surprise and it made the trip down well worth it! I have caught my fair share of trophy bass but that 22" red made a 10LB bass feel weak! I will defiantly be seeking our MR. red fish in the future! :D

If anyone would like to share any recommendations for catching reds near DI/TP, I ...

turkey point 4/25

I have been trying to get out on the water for the last few weeks with little cooperation from the weather. I decided I was going to head down Friday after work without the boat ( just incase the weather didn't want to cooperate) and piddle around on the dock and try to stir up a bite.

After a ...

THEY DO EXSIST.... STATE WATER GROUPER

Well, Went down to DI/Panacea area to do some fishing this week. The family was down all weekend and left due to the yellow flies so I was by myself Tuesday and Wednesday (with all my fishing buds at work and the boat already down here I said what the hell I am going fishing)

Day One: Weather was ...

Re: "LEGAL" STATE WATER GROUPER NEAR PANACEA/DI

Well either way I am going to wet a hook all around and do a great deal of spot checking in random areas trying to find something worth mentioning.

Another question has come to mind.......

If I get on a spot with good structure and the rock bass and pink mouths are in abundance on the end of ...

"LEGAL" STATE WATER GROUPER NEAR PANACEA/DI

Ok, Help???!!!!
I have been looking to find some of the elusive " legal" state water grouper since the state water season has opened NEAR PANACEA/LANARK. I went out prior to opening and caught some nice legal size gags about 11 miles out trolling when the weather was still cool but that wouldn't ...

Port St. Joe. 5/4/14

I have been reading this forum for a few months and always look forward to reading the posts as a Monday morning ritual. Since I see none today and I went fishing yesterday I figured what the heck...

started off at 8 AM- Went out to 150(+-) ft of water and immediately started catching fish but a ...
