Re: Econfina Saturday

Yea I heard about that. They said it was more of a cussing match than a fight. No place for kids ears. Lot “F” bombs. And as you could imagine, alcohol related. I’m done with that place! I'm done with it too unless I win the lottery and then I'll build a Marina at keaton to make everyones lives bet...

Re: Econfina Saturday

Yes Keaton can be a complete cluster. They need a sign that says first trailer in line takes out. Not the first boat! :smt011 Nice catch :-D How was the ramp Saturday? :-D Thanks. Wasn’t bad at all. The parking lot was full all the way up to the store but we had no trouble putting in or loading up....

Re: PAUL BROWN LURES BY MIRROWLURE

Picked up a Fat Boy in Texas Chicken (pink top, chartreuse belly, orange bottom/back) and tried in on the east flats today. Never got a single nibble. Tried twitch/twitch/pause, straight retrieve, and even a little left/right action. No joy. I thought with the bluebird skies it would do well, but t...

Re: PAUL BROWN LURES BY MIRROWLURE

I'll add I've found the devil to be the most durable corky even though the tail is so skinny

Re: PAUL BROWN LURES BY MIRROWLURE

I prefer the paul brown devil or fat boy, They are deadly on big trout, nearly every trout over 20 I've caught has been on a corky. I try and look at the color but my best colors have been pink and black or purple and chartreuse. I have several broke back corky's that steveslures made.....stay away ...

Re: Steinhatchee 4/8-10:Or how I got conned into painting a fence

Well that report was...unique lol! Took many hook and turns lol! I heard the mullet stay baited up off of that Hungy Howies dock. I’ve always wanted to run down there and check that out. Interesting, I may have to try and catch some mullet next time, I also question at times where my life would be ...

Linked the pic I was asking about. Definitely doesn't look like a baby anything. https://uca5590561b9cb72777678a400b8.dl.dropboxusercontent.com/cd/0/inline/BMeG4wlksZyw47caoK8PkDKEnMlAtBUcVB18Iqi43DP6hxMk8uo0pmgod8CqGeetlTZwmwg7R5TUQHHf07Bsfr4fFc7fWj6nUgYV43JHf_f4SGb6qMrqa2K80pq3Hwa_SayLMhM7UZT5fuc...

:lick: What is that last pic? Looks delicious. :lick: I got key west shrimp from steinhatchee fish co and sauteed them in garlic, butter, olive oil, and old bay and then put them over rigatoni with marinara. Plenty of fun was had for sure and plenty of good eating was done [emoji1787] Sent from my ...

Steinhatchee 4/8-10:Or how I got conned into painting a fence

After being married to someone for 7 years who I started dating in 2008, my wife definitely knows how to manipulate me when it comes to fishing. After a disagreement over chemical use for weed control in our yard she declared flats fishing to be off limits for the near future. Of course the next day...

I thought it was a baby bluefish, it came out of the big trout.

Re: Keaton 3/24: A sporty trip

I could tell way before I was finished reading the long report that that was the report of a man who enjoyed himself, and that that would have been the case had he not gotten a bite. I tell you what about losing big fish. We seem to be born with the belief that when we lose a big one that’s the las...
