ANY BODY WANT TO GO FISHING?

If you're not already fishing in one of the tournaments this weekend or don't have a boat, and would like to fish give me a call. Weather should be tolarable, and I have an empty boat. Since I don't have a "PAID TRIP" this weekend , I thought I'd take along someone for free just to have co...

Wevans,

That's exactly what I said. The homeowners built it and now the county
says it's public.

Now you know you can't fight city hall....

FISHING AT NIGHT

Night fishing is great. Even if you don't catch anything it's peaceful when the stars are out. If you have guests aboard you can pee over the side and no one will know if the radio is on. Trout fishing in shallow water is a blast, and top water lures work well. Most fish will feed at night on the bo...

SHELL POINT LAUNCHING

Kevin, If you will contact me I will help you make arrangements to launch at our neighborhood ramp at Oyeter Bay. If I don't have two boats in the water you can tie up to my dock while you're not fishing. I'd be happy to make a run with you around the area so you can become familiar with it. In Oyst...

CANOE FOR SALE

I have a 17', ALUMINUM CANOE. It's made by GRUMMAN, the people who build the airplanes. The canoe has foam flotation chambers fore and aft, and is in very good condition. Ideal for rivers and shallow water fishing, great over oyster bars. One person can load it on top of a car. ASKING $400.00 Charli...

THANKS GIVING WEEKEND

Yep, I'll be fishing Thanksgiving weekend, but up in a mountain stream.

When I get back I'll get into the same old groove of fishing several times a week.

As far as weekend and holidays go they don't make much difference since the only work I do is fish.

EVERY DAY IS SATURDAY!

Oil spills

If you want to know what the spills have done to the river throughout the years, go a few blocks, up the Wakulla river. Dive down and grab a hand full of mud. Then go between the fort and the power plant/oil docks and dive down and get a hand full of mud. Quite different. It aint mud. It's the nasti...

WHAT TO EXPECT ON A CHARTER

Let me first give you the captain's outlook. My main concern is safety. Safe boat, safety equiptment, and good tackle. Bad weather, we don't go. I don't want drunks, or kids runnign all over the boat, or anyone who is impatient to a fault. Your skipper should make it easy to fish and fun. Like some ...

THE PLANO TACKLE BOX

I'v been fishoing with the Plano (above) for several years. It's great. It lets you put jigs in one dawer, hooks weights etc in another and still have a third.

Lots of storage in the top too. Easy to carry and doesnt fall over.
